Osebo the Zaraman emphasizes that young people should focus on intelligence rather than just hard work, asserting that strategic thinking is essential for achieving financial success.
The fashion icon and socialite advised the youth to adopt a strategic mindset rather than relying exclusively on hard work to reach their financial goals.
In an interview with GhanaWeb’s Stella Dziedzorm during the 40th birthday celebration of prominent businessman and investor Richard Nii-Armah Quaye, Osebo pointed out that many young individuals today lack the resilience needed to attain significant success.
When asked how one could accumulate wealth like Quaye, he noted that most young people are not prepared to endure the hardships that Quaye faced on his path to success.

“You can’t just become like him. I listened to one of his interviews, and this man has truly suffered. What he went through, most young people today wouldn’t be willing to endure. Even if you asked them to do it, they wouldn’t. So, it’s not easy to be like him,” he explained.
Osebo also tackled the prevalent idea of working smart instead of hard, emphasizing that success demands both intelligence and effort.

“Have you ever seen a wealthy person who is foolish? You need intelligence. If you lack common sense, you won’t make money. So, before considering how to get rich, you must first use your brain.”
He further explained that excessive physical labor isn’t always necessary if one applies strategic thinking.
“It’s not just about working hard; you can use your brain to make money. If you want to be like him (Quaye), trust me, it won’t be easy. You can even surpass his achievements, but you must use your intelligence,” he advised.
Osebo’s comments underscore the increasing dialogue about strategic wealth-building and the importance of smart decision-making in achieving financial success.
