Prominent Ghanaian gospel performer Ohemaa Mercy has openly commended Stonebwoy and Kofi Kinaata for their use of “wisdom” and well-written lyrics.
The Ote Me Mu hitmaker stated she will not even permit any member of her household to listen to such morally reprehensible music. She vehemently opposes filthy songs by secular artists in an interview that she did yesterday on Hitz FM.
But she singled out artists like Stonebwoy and Kofi Kinaata, praising their ability to write songs with insightful content.
Ohemaa revealed that because Stonebwoy’s song Tuff Seed depicted wisdom, she had once used it to teach.

“I always listen to songs that give wisdom. I love Kofi Kinaata and some of the songs by Stonebwoy. I remember I even preached with Tuff Seed. I love some of the messages but there are some of the songs I wouldn’t even allow anyone in my home to listen to because it doesn’t communicate anything, its just noise,” she said.
