The New Patriotic Party has officially concluded its presidential ballot draw ahead of the January 31, 2026 primary, setting the stage for a competitive race among the Party’s Presidential aspirants.
The balloting exercise conducted in collaboration with the Electoral Commission determines the order in which candidates will appear on the ballot paper.
Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong secured the first position on the ballot, followed by Hon. Dr. Bryan Acheampong in the second position.
Meanwhile, former NPP Presidential Candidate, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia secured third spot on the ballot, while Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum and Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong secured the fourth and fifth positions, respectively.
In an official release dated October 10, 2025 and signed by the secretary of the Presidential Elections Committee, William Yamoah, the committee expressed appreciation to all aspirants, their representatives and the Electoral Commission for cooperating to ensure a successful balloting exercise.
