An aspiring flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, (NPP) Francis Addai-Nimoh is asking party members to present a fresh face for the upcoming 2024 elections.
According to him, there is a need for a unifying, unblemished, and comforting new face with a new message to work with which will allow the NPP to retain power successfully in 2024.
“The circumstances of our party require a new face as the next presidential candidate, I am the new face to win the 2023 flagbearer elections. A new face must have an unblemished character. A face that represents a genuine movement that provides hope to those members who may have been disgruntled,” he said.
To him, the country needs a new approach to governorship since Ghanaian presidents have had their education in social science over the past years.
As such he said room has to be made for those with a fiscal science educational background which to him makes him a qualified candidate for the NPP flagbearership
Francis Addai-Nimoh made this appeal in a televised speech on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, where he declared his intention to contest for the flagbearership race during the NPP primaries.
He said, “electing a leader who is determined to do what it takes will help Ghanaians to live up to their full potential.”
The ruling party NPP has made it clear to achieve a firm footing towards the retention of power in the 2024 upcoming elections.
