Shan George, a seasoned Nollywood actor, has appealed to Nigerians for help after hearing rumors that scammers have purportedly frozen her bank account.
The Nollywood actress said that the N3.6 million naira in her bank account was erased by a person by the name of Cecilia.
The actress said she was now broke and had nothing to feed her kids in a video statement posted on Instagram earlier today.
She claimed that because it is the weekend and she is unable to visit the bank to file a complaint, the situation is worse.
The upset actress claimed in her description of what happened that the funds were moved to an Opay account under Cecilia Chisgoziem Okoro’s name.
She begged for assistance from her followers and Nigerian authorities on social media, sharing screenshots of what looked to be fraudulent activity as proof on her Instagram page.

“I need help cos I’m dying. This person has just cleared my account. Pls my pple, everyone pls help. Pls Zenith Bank, Reverse it. I can’t access my app. I’m De@D Oga Jim Ovia,” she captioned the post which came with the screenshot of the fraudulent transaction.
“I’m left koboless right now, wetin I go eat with my children. @zenithbankplc @opay.ng please help me, my account at zenith has been wiped clean just now, paid into Opay. Pls help me reverse it. Opay customer’s name Cecilia Chisgoziem Okoro.Pls refund my money,” she captioned the video.
