The New Patriotic Party in the Cape Coast North and South Constituency has described as untrue claims by the opposition NDC that the confirmed MCE, Ernest Arthur and transport Minister Kweku Ofori Asiamah planned to perpetrate mayhem in cape coast during the confirmation processes.
The NPP said the claim by the MP for Cape Coast South is “a palpable lie” and should be disregarded.
The NDC had claimed that, the Mr. Ernest Arthur and Kweku Ofori Asiamah had planned to create distractions at the confirming process and also said some members of the invisible forces and land guards were brought to cape coast and lodged at the Elmina Beach resort prior to the confirmation process on Sunday 17th October.
According to the NPP secretary in the Cape Coast South Constituency, Ebenezer Kwame Sam, none of the personalities had any intentions to cause mayhem adding that the assertion that some members of the invisible forces and land guards were brought to cape coast is also untrue adding that “there is no record at the reception of the said beach resort”.

Mr. Sam Said, the Member of parliament and for that matter the NDC should accept that they have failed the people of cape coast and must render an unqualified apology.
On the challenge by the NDC MPs to the NPP to show the people of cape coast what projects the NPP has executed, he said one of the many projects include the solving of the water crisis in cape coast through the revamping the Sekyere Heman water project.
