The National Film Authority has confirmed its first collaboration with IndieRights, a major film production firm headquartered in Los Angeles.
This follows the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s April 28, 2021, launch of the Presidential film pitch sequence at the Movenpick Hotel in Accra, Ghana, where the President echoed the ultimate goal of positioning Ghana as a film center in the country and bringing Ghanaian material to the globe.
The Presidential Film Pitch Series is a pipeline facilitation platform designed to help fuel the film sector’s value chain by creating a dynamic marketplace where great film ventures from Ghana’s film ecosystem will interact with producers, supporters, and agents. distributors, broadcasters, and industry channels
IndieRights has collaborations with major media channels such as Amazon, Google, AppleTV, TubiTV, among others. These collaborations allow IndieRights to have the best viewing options for the more than 800 filmmakers with whom it operates. IndieRights participates in the AFM and the Cannes Film Market last year.
IndieRights recently migrated its material to the cloud in collaboration with a community of young MIT engineers.
Since IndieRights information is now stored in the cloud, the business will conveniently deliver products to buyers in minutes rather than days. This enables the organization to increase the amount of film distribution channels on a global scale, as it already delivers material to over 100 territories worldwide.
