Ghanaian actress Nana Ama McBrown has revealed her intention to retire at 50, focusing on farming and launching a food business as part of her retirement strategy.
In an exclusive interview with Diva Doc Let’s Talk, she shared her plans for retirement and the reasoning behind her multiple brand ambassadorial deals.
McBrown expressed her desire to retire at 50, stating that she wants to slow down at that age. “Since I plan to retire and reduce my public appearances, I need an alternative to my farming. I want to enter the food business,” she explained.
The Kumawood star discussed her ownership of a farm and her involvement in agriculture, emphasizing that she has already begun her journey into the food sector as part of her retirement plan.

“I want to slow down on appearances at 50 and focus more on farming. I’ve started now,” she noted.
As an ambassador for 14 brands in Ghana, McBrown elaborated on her future plans for her farm, including building a space where visitors can relax and enjoy nature. “At 50, I want you to come to my farm. I have a building there where we can chill in the air conditioning and later pick some okra together,” she said.
Many were surprised to learn that Mrs. McBrown Mensah is pursuing farming, similar to musician and media personality Michy. Some advised the actress to be cautious about sharing her plans, suggesting that not everyone would wish her well.
