Ghanaian media personality Nana Aba Anamoah has launched a strong criticism of former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta, accusing him of inflicting suffering on the nation through his “wicked, evil ways” and labeling him the worst finance minister in Ghana’s history.
Her comments follow reports that Ofori-Atta is suing police officers who raided his residence in Cantonments while the Office of the Special Prosecutor was trying to apprehend him over scandals from his time in office. In a forceful social media post, Nana Aba expressed her outrage at the suffering and poverty Ghanaians have endured due to Ofori-Atta’s alleged mismanagement.

“By the same token, we should be suing him, Ken Ofori-Atta, for his wicked, evil ways that caused many to suffer for so long until he was FINALLY removed. The worst finance minister this country has ever known,” she declared.

The controversy intensified when Ofori-Atta’s lawyers filed a writ at the Accra High Court. This legal action followed an incident last month when national security operatives raided his residence in Cantonments while he was out of the country, as the Office of the Special Prosecutor pursued him regarding several scandals.
In response, Ofori-Atta has claimed that the officers violated his right to privacy and traumatized his family and domestic staff. He is now seeking unspecified damages and a declaration that the police action was unlawful.
