The well-known Afrobeats artist Davido disclosed that the price of his wedding watch was $800,000 (about N1.2 billion).
Davido flaunted his watch while saying, “Ain’t no fake watch, mehn,” in a now-viral video on X. $800,000, dude.
This is in response to his earlier, contentious assertion that Chioma’s engagement ring is worth two or three Rolls Royces.
On Tuesday, June 25, the much awaited white wedding took place at the Eko Hotel in Lagos, Nigeria.
As is traditional in Igbo marriage customs, Davido bowed before Chioma’s parents and asked for their blessing, their daughter’s hand in marriage, and their guarantee that he would love and protect her.
In addition, the singer thanked Chioma’s parents for giving him custody of their daughter and pledged to uphold their confidence and make them proud.
After dating since 2017, the pair welcomed their son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, later that year. They also got engaged in 2019.

Sadly, he drowned in the pool in Davido’s Lagos house at the age of three, which led to his death. But later on, Davido and Chioma were fortunate enough to have twins.
