Prophet Nicholas Osei, also known as Kumchacha, is the founder and head of Heaven’s Gate Ministry. He has expressed worries about the widespread usage of phones in churches and has pointed out a worrying trend of people watching porn during church sessions.
In a recent interview with Accra’s OKAY FM, Prophet Kumchacha voiced his dismay about the declining use of actual Bibles among congregations in favor of smartphones. He claims that this move has unintentionally made it easier for people to access obscene content.
“People no longer bring Bibles to church,” he remarked. Their phones are all that they bring with them. Kumchacha said during the show, “You’ll be shocked to learn that people will be watching pornography on their phones while you ask for quotations.”
