Miss Galaxy, Ghana’s premier environmental sanitation beauty pageant, is set to lead the advocacy for a safer Ghana in its sixth iteration.
Nominations for this year’s version opened on Monday, April 12, 2021, and young beautiful ladies will enter the mission of preaching the importance of keeping Ghana safe.
The theme of the beauty pageant is to inspire young beautiful Ghanaian ladies to use their beauty to become successful actors who take meaningful steps towards a clean Ghana.
The aim of the pageant, according to Mr. Nanayaw Kwakye-Boadu, Chief Executive Officer of EduEnter Group Ghana, the pageant’s organizers, was to inspire young Ghanaian ladies to become inspirational members of society, especially through sanitation advocacy.
“This is the country’s first sanitation and beauty advocacy forum, and we’re working hard to make Ghana waste-free. Although the struggle is difficult, we provide these young women with opportunities to participate in the battle for a cleaner Ghana “, he said.
