The Ministry of Education has announced the release of the 2024/25 placement results for students entering Senior High Schools and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions.
This release enables thousands of students to check their placements and secure admission for the upcoming academic year.
In a statement, the Ministry noted that 553,155 out of 563,339 candidates, whose results were received from the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), qualified for placement.
Of these, 447,698 students representing 80.93% were automatically placed into one of their selected schools.
However, approximately 104,918 qualified candidates were not matched with any of their preferred choices, to support these students, the Ministry is encouraging the use of the Self-Placement platform, where students can choose from schools with available slots.
To assist with the process, the Ministry has established several resources, including the National Solution Centre at GNAT Hall in Adabraka, Accra, and 16 Regional Solution Centers. Additionally, a helpline is available at 0308258001 for placement-related inquiries.
Qualified students are to visit the official CSSPS website at https://www.cssps.gov.gh or https://www.cssps.org and enter the ten-digit index number followed by the year of completion (e.g., if completed in 2024, use the format 123456789024) and then click the “Submit” button and wait for the placement result to be displayed.
