Microsoft is updating Copilot Vision for Windows Insiders, enabling the AI tool to view everything on your screen. Previously limited to analyzing two apps at a time, this new functionality allows it to access your entire desktop or any specific browser or app window.
Unlike Recall, which automatically captures regular screenshots of your computer screen, using Copilot Vision resembles screen sharing during a video call. Users can activate the feature by clicking the glasses icon in the Copilot app and selecting the desktop they want to share.

According to Microsoft, Copilot Vision can help analyze content, provide insights, and answer questions, offering verbal coaching along the way. Users can receive tips for improving creative projects, enhancing resumes, or navigating new games.
Microsoft began testing Copilot Vision last year as a tool to see what users were viewing while browsing in Edge. The AI can also respond to questions about what it observes through a mobile phone camera.
