Elon Musk, Twitter’s new owner, declared a few days ago his plan to block accounts that claim to be someone else without being flagged as parody pages.
Medikal, a Ghanaian musician, appears to have succumbed to the new trend on the microblogging platform.

His Twitter account was suspended on Tuesday night for cloning President Akufo-Addo after he made a few adjustments to his public profile.
He updated his username to Mr President and his picture to the President’s. He kept his handle, however, @AMGMedikal.
The award-winning rapper’s account was suspended shortly following these changes.
It’s unclear whether the suspension was related to Twitter’s new policy, but as Elon hinted previously, social media is rife with theories.
On November 6, Elon Musk tweeted, “Going forward, any Twitter handles engaging in impersonation without clearly specifying “parody” will be permanently suspended.”
The firebrand went on to say that there would be “no warning” before the suspension, and that anyone who changed their name would also lose their verification badge.
Elon’s dramatic changes on the social network have left speculation since his takeover.
The list continues on, from charging $8 for a verification badge to laying off over half of the workers, including the newly-opened Accra office staff.
