Manhunt Launched for Gunman in Central Region Shooting

The Ghana Police Service is on a manhunt for a suspect alleged to have shot a person in the leg in the Awutu Senya East Constituency, in the Central Region.

In a statement, the police identified the suspect as Mujaheed Suraj, alias Mims.

According to the police, the suspect absconded from the scene, leaving behind his vehicle which is currently in police possession.

The service assured that an intelligence-led operation would lead to the suspect’s arrest and further prosecution.
