Manchester United are reportedly closing in on the signing of Real Madrid centre-back Raphael Varane.
The Red Devils are believed to have already agreed personal terms with the France international, who wants a new challenge this summer following 10 years in the Spanish capital.
The two clubs have been in negotiations over a transfer fee for the World Cup winner, and a recent report claimed that Man United are prepared to pay €50m (£42.8m) to sign the defender this summer.

According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the 20-time English champions will submit an offer ‘in the next few days’, and the club’s board are ‘confident’ of getting the deal done.
Romano also claims that there are no other clubs in the running for Varane’s signature, despite previous suggestions that Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea were both interested.
The 28-year-old, who represented his country at this summer’s European Championship, only has 12 months left to run on his current deal at the Bernabeu.
The centre-back has made 360 appearances for Los Blancos since arriving from Lens in 2011, winning three La Liga titles and four Champions League crowns during his time at the club.
