Manchester United have reportedly agreed a fee of £41m with Real Madrid to sign central defender Raphael Varane this summer.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has identified the 28-year-old as his primary transfer target, following the arrival of Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund earlier this month.
Real are looking to sell Varane this summer as he has just one year remaining on his contract, and there have been no indications to suggest that the defender wishes to extend his deal with the Spanish club.

According to Sky Sports News, both parties have now agreed a transfer fee worth £41m plus add-odds, with the deal set to be completed subject to a medical.
The Frenchman is yet to agree personal terms with the Red Devils, though negotiations are not expected to be a problem as the defender could be in line to almost double his wages at Old Trafford.
Varane has spent 10 years at the Santiago Bernabeu, recording 360 appearances and winning 18 major trophies, including four Champions League titles.
