According to the Prosecution, on January 16, 2023, the complainant and his team of ECG Technicians were conducting a routine examination of electricity meters.
It stated that the crew went to Oasis Park Residence, a rental unit, and discovered that the corporation had tapped power using 2.5-millimetre cables and put prepaid meters with serial numbers P161121587, P16121588, 24912010345, 24912033602, and 249120333578.
According to the Prosecutor, all of the meters were linked “in such a way that they were not recording power consumption.”
According to the report, the meters were inspected in the presence of the accused, and he was summoned to the ECG District Office in Legon.
Yankee, who was later referred to police, stated that he had nothing to say about the offenses.
