US based Ghanaian Afro musician, Juicee, is charging leaders of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) to make the organisation more attractive to the young crop of musicians.
She thinks the lack of engaging initiatives by the union to grab their attention is the cause of young musicians’ lack of interest in MUSIGA.
Juicee asserts that when the union gets ready to elect new executives, the goal of the next leadership should be to implement policies that will entice young musicians to join MUSIGA.
“I am not a member and I know of many others who are also not members because they don’t see the need.

“We always hear of musicians not getting their royalties. In fact, when you sit back and watch as a musician, there’s nothing interesting about MUSIGA.
“At least, if the old musicians are saying good things about the union and things are working in there, we will all join but as it stands now, there is nothing exciting about MUSIGA”, she told Graphic Showbiz.
Juicee, whose real name is Esther Dzamesi, is convinced that the adoption of sound policies and initiatives is the only magnet that will attract people of her sort to MUSIGA.
The organization, according to her, might begin by hosting forums and seminars to teach and educate its members on pertinent policies that will help guide them.
The 2021 African Most Beautiful USA contestant Juicee is currently in Ghana to promote her most recent track allow Cash Out.
The song allow Cash Out, which has a video accompaniment, is about saving money and protecting the things in our lives that are important to us.
Juicee, who has written songs like Dear God, Life, and Power, began playing music as a hobby five years ago but has now decided to pursue it professionally.
She really wants to work with artists like Stonebwoy, KiDi, and Sarkodie.
