The burial date and funeral plans for the late father, Nana Akpor Kainyah, have been disclosed by Ghanaian musician-turned-evangelist Lord Kenya who is the son of the deceased.
On Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at 8 a.m., at his Apemso home near Apemso Pentecost Church, the funeral plan will begin with a lying in state.
Thursday, August 8, 2024, at Sanzule, Nzema, will be the private burial day.

On Saturday, August 10, 2024, from 12 PM to 6 PM, at Hero’s Park, Kumasi Sports Stadium, will be the last funeral ceremonies.
On Sunday, August 10, 2024, a thanksgiving mass will be held at the Face of Grace Covenant Temple in Kumasi, which is near to Ahodwo Melcom.
Lastly, a family get-together will take place at his Apemso home on Sunday, August 11, 2024.
