The shocking admission made by Ghanaian actress Martha Ankomah is that she has never had a face-to-face meeting with her co-star actor Lil Win.
In the middle of her ongoing legal battle with Lil Win, she stated in an August 7 interview on Accra FM that she only spoke with him once, when he called her in 2019 asking for a favor.
She checked her phone to confirm throughout the interview and recalled that the incident occurred on April 27, 2019, around 10:38 AM.
“Before God and man, I have not met Lil Win physically and our paths have never crossed before. The only time I spoke to him was when he called me on phone for a favour.
“You know the iPhone keeps records. So, this was the only time Lil Win called me and asked for a favour with the very GTP he insulted me with.
“God being so good, I spoke to GTP. I don’t know if he went to see them or not. But, if Lil Win, would speak the truth, he reached out to thank me, afterwards,” Martha noted.
She continued: “I also sent him a number for him to call, adding that they had assured he would be given a good deal. I asked him to reach out to me in case he needed further assistance. That’s the only time I ever spoke to Lil Win. I’ve not seen him physically before.”

Martha claims that he was contacted by Kumawood star and producer Lil Win, who asked for help in getting a deal from GTP to print uniforms for his school.
“He wanted GTP to print school uniforms for his school. And, he said, when he spoke about this to people, he was told Martha Ankomah was the GTP brand ambassador.
“So I told him no problem and I will speak to them and get back to you. So I called the Boss and he was like no problem and he gave me a number to give back to Lil Win,” she explained.
In Kumasi, Lil Win’s Great Minds International School was founded in 2018. The GTP cooperative agreement was reportedly pursued in 2019.
A GHS5 million defamation lawsuit filed by Martha Ankomah against Lil Win appeared online on February 14, 2024. The lawsuit concerned Lil Win’s claimed defamatory comments against Martha Ankomah.
October is when the matter is expected to be heard in court. Unverified sources, meanwhile, claim that both parties have decided to settle the matter outside of court.
