On Monday, June 3, popular Kumawood actor Lil Win came before the Asokore Mampong District Court and was accused with reckless driving and negligently inflicting harm.
Lil Win was subsequently given GH¢50,000 bail with two sureties. Margaret Adjei-Twum, his attorney, said during the bail hearing that Lil Win required additional time for treatment because she had internal bleeding and bruises.
She assured the court that Lil Win, being a well-known individual, would not impede police investigations. As the case is being investigated, the prosecution requested that the accused be reached at any time.
The case will now reopen on June 27, 2024.

Shortly after being released from the Komfo Anokye Teaching hospital on Monday, the actor was taken into custody early on June 3.
His arrest is connected to the Saturday, May 25, tragedy that resulted in the death of a three-year-old boy. The mishap occurred just hours before his film, “A Country Called Ghana,” debuted.
Eyewitnesses claim that Lil Win was traveling at high speed when his car struck the victim’s car, resulting in an accident.
Since then, the three-year-old’s family has asked that the actor responsible for their beloved son’s death be held accountable.
