After years of false charges, Lil Win takes decisive action against Oboy Siki, causing Kumawood’s drama to spill over into real life.
Due to ongoing accusations that have damaged his reputation, award-winning Kumawood actor Kwadwo Nkansah, better known by his stage name Lil Win, has taken firm action against fellow actor Oboy Siki, resulting in his imprisonment.
Oboy Siki has been making outrageous statements about Lil Win in interviews for years. He accused the producer of A Country Called Ghana of having adulterous affairs with two of his former protégés, Sandra Sarfo Ababio and Sweet Mimi, and of exchanging sexual favors for film positions with female actors. Oboy Siki’s remarks persisted in spite of Lil Win’s constant denials and threats of legal action.

Lil Win said in a recent interview with Zionfelix that he had previously decided against going to court because he was unfazed by the claims. But on Thursday, January 23, 2025, things changed when Oboy Siki was hauled into custody and brought to Kumasi’s Moro Market Police Station.
Lil Win outlined his motivations for acting in a video that blogger Poleeno posted. When Oboy Siki made disparaging statements about his 80-year-old mother and his wife, Maame Serwaa, the Wezzy Empire CEO said that he had been subjected to years of unfounded charges.
Lil Win, who was clearly upset, said he hoped this incident would put an end to the disparaging comments made about him because they had seriously harmed his reputation.
