The Legacy Leadership Summit Ghana 2025, a summit dedicated to improving leadership and literacy has been held at the University of Cape Coast (UCC).
The two-day summit held on the 15th and 16th of July, 2025 was organized by the UCC in collaboration with US-based Legacy Library under the theme “Leadership and Literacy: Empowering Visionary Leaders, Transforming Education, and Shaping the Future.”

He urged participants to reimagine leadership through the lens of literacy, viewed as a crucial tool for critical thinking, effective communication, and responsible decision-making.
Prof. Aheto argued that education and literacy have always been the primary instruments by which societies nurture future leaders.
“Without access to knowledge, there can be no vision, and without vision, there can be no future worth aspiring to. That is why the University of Cape Coast is proud to align with the Legacy Library, a visionary institution whose mission resonates deeply with our own ideals as a university.”

On his part, the Provost of the College of Education Studies at the University of Cape Coast, Professor Douglas Darko Agyei, reiterated the summit’s aim to provide valuable insights for those committed to educational transformation, fostering an interactive environment for discussions on critical topics like technology integration and cybersecurity.
