Ghanaian singer, Kwame Yogot has finally revealed why he used fellow musician, Patapaa as a symbol of ugliness in his music “Bitter Sweet”.
Bitter Sweet is an ironical content based music that draws lots of distinctions between two things or situations. In the song, he compares Pappy Kojo to Patapaa Amisty in terms of appearance and handsomeness.
The former, Pappy Kojo is praised to be handsome, and is used as a symbol as such, however, Patapaa the latter, is used as a symbol for ugliness.
The Biibi Besi hitmaker therefore explained that he had no malicious intentions when he did that comparison, but he just wanted to create fun, use someone who was popularly and was also trending at that moment to do that comparison.
“Of course, I know Patapaa wouldn‘t take offence. In fact, he has heard it several times. However, I decided to use his name because he was trending at that time. The issue is that I can’t use someone like Yaw Boakye who is not well known. The effect wouldn’t come out properly, hence my decision to use Patapaa’s name” he told the host of the Entertainment Zone show, Barrister Daniels on ATL FM.
Kenneth Kyeremanteng who is known in public life as Kwame Yogot also added that through his music career, he has been fortunate enough to the extent that no artiste he has collaborated with has charged him any fee.

“Kuami Eugene didn’t take a dime from me for this collaboration. However, he did something fantastic for me. He helped me with the promotion of the song, Biibi Besi. Kuami Eugene is someone who would go all out to assist you if he really wants to regardless of the amount you paid him” he indicated.
Biibi Besi is undoubtedly his biggest song so far.
