Asante Kotoko finally saw a win in their crucial game against FC Samartex in the Ghana Premier League having failed to clinch victory in their previous seven games.
The Porcupine Warriors have been enduring a poor run in the competition, particularly in the second round where they had only managed a win in nine matches.
However, Prosper Narteh Ogum finally led the team to victory against a more difficult opponent FC Samarex.

The league leaders were on a six-game unbeaten run having secured four wins and two draws in including crucial victories against Medeama and Hearts of Oak.
The game continued with determination from both teams who failed to find the net in the first half. The breakthrough moment, however, arrived in the 60th minute when Enoch Morrison converted a penalty to give the Porcupine Warriors the lead.
