At the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, Asante Kotoko defeated Nsoatreman 2-1 to clinch the J.A. Kufuor Cup.
The match began with both sides wearing the same yellow jerseys, but in order for Kotoko to change into their white strip for easy identification, play was stopped in the 25th minute.
Nsoatreman’s first goal came from Abdul Rahman in the first half, giving them a lead that lasted until halftime.
But in the 57th minute, Steven Mukwala, a striker for Kotoko from Uganda, tied the score.
