Veteran Highlife musician, KK Fosu has expressed his disappointment with Ghanaian writer and music publicist, Elorm Beenie whom he alleges has been misleading Ghanaians.
On Saturday, May 25, 2024, musicians, KK Fosu, Bless and publicist working with Elorm Beenie, John Claude Tamakloe were involved in a motor accident as they were en route to perform at a wedding ceremony.
The car crash involving the celebrated Highlife musicians on the Accra-Apam highway resulted in the tragic death of blogger and publicist John Claude Tamakloe.
Publicist, John Claude Tamakloe died in a car crash with KK Fosu and Bless in an accident on May 2024.
The musician expressed frustration over the assumptions made about his relationship with Jean Claude and the expectations placed on him to be present at the funeral.
In the interview, K.K. Fosu accused Elom Beenie of being the source of the rumors that he deliberately chose not to attend the funeral.

Reacting to these rumors, he alleged in an exclusive interview on Accra based Adom TV that Elorm Beenie is behind the creation of the perception that is currently leading to scores of Ghanaians tarnishing his hard earned reputation on social media especially.
“Elom Beenie is behind the trending reports that I intentionally refused to attend his (John Claude Tanakloe’s) funeral,” he said, urging Elom Beenie to stop tarnishing his image.
He also addressed some accusations labeled against him, adding that he didn’t know John Claude Tamakloe personally hence his decision not to attend his funeral.
According to the “Anadwo ye de” singer, he did not know John Claude Tamakloe personally, having met him for the first time on the day of the tragic accident that claimed the blogger’s life.

“I don’t even know Jean Claude,” K.K. Fosu stated, highlighting that their paths had crossed only briefly before the unfortunate incident.
He also explained that the deceased was not a part of his team traveling to the event.
Narrating how the accident occurred, the driver of the car Nana Obiri Yeboah, reported that their Toyota Camry collided head-on with a Benz car.
The Benz car driver was attempting to overtake another vehicle when it ran into the Camry.
The impact of the crash resulted in the immediate death of John Claude Tamakloe, who was allegedly accompanying Kay Bless as his videographer.
