The amazing lineup of performers for this year’s Afrobeats Summer Jam, which is set for Friday, July 26, 2024 in New York, USA, includes Ghanaian music stars King Paluta and Amerado.
Other well-known Ghanaian artists, like as Lasmid and Nana Nyc, will be performing alongside King Paluta and Amerado.
DJ Noris, an American DJ who turned musician, and Big Hookz from Cameroon will perform, adding to the event’s international flavor.
The Chicago Ghanaian Council is organizing the event, which is expected to grow into a worldwide celebration of Ghanaian music and give gifted musicians a stage on which to perform for a wide range of appreciative audiences.
A member of the organizing committee named Nana NYC claims that the event’s specific goals are to propel Ghanaian music onto the world stage and offer participating artists a singular chance to become internationally recognized.

He is hopeful that the artists on the bill would take advantage of the chance to successfully market themselves to a larger international audience and grow their fan base.
“We are providing a supportive environment for Ghanaian musicians to shine through the Afrobeats Summer Jam platform and equally introduce the richness and diversity of Ghanaian music to a new and enthusiastic audience”, he said on Graphic Showbiz..
One of the main performers, King Paluta, was excited about the chance to play at the event.
The Makoma hitmaker told Graphic Showbiz that he will not disappoint in delivering on his belief that these kinds of venues are essential for showcasing his culture and reaching a wider audience.
“Getting the platform to perform will cushion me to continue selling my culture to the wider community and also give me exposure to other bigger platforms,” King Paluta said.
He promised his audience that they would have an amazing time that would make a lasting impression on the world and raise awareness of Ghanaian music.
“It’s Ghanaian music to the world and we will prove Ghana has the best music. Our Highlife music is beautiful. I and my other talented stars such as Amerado are going to put Ghana on the map,” he continued.
