Ghanaian actress and media personality, Joselyn Dumas has finally opened up on why some single single mothers may never get a husband.
Joselyn Dumas explained her theory in a recent podcast on YouTube when she blamed the inability of single mothers to get married on some men.
According to the “Scorned” actress, she opined that a lot of women are not ready to settle down with a lady who already has a baby.
According to Dumas, her friend, Anthony, firmly stated, “Me, I will never be with a born one,” citing concerns about raising a non-biological child and maintaining his bloodline.

She further went on emphasize that thoughts of her friend, Anthony are among the many thoughts of most men out there and as a result, wouldn’t be encouraged to settle with a single mother.
“This is the reason why a lot of single mothers are single with their children,” she said.
In her view, adopting a child is the same as living with a child that is not biologically from your loins. She asserted that it is a societal bias that must be eschewed.
In Ghanaian culture, the term “born one” typically refers to a child born out of wedlock or to unmarried parents.
It’s often used in a colloquial or informal context to describe someone who is the offspring of a relationship that wasn’t formalized through marriage.
In some societies, there may be social stigma or cultural perceptions associated with being a “born one,” although attitudes vary widely and are evolving over time.
Despite any societal attitudes, it’s important to recognize that children born outside of wedlock deserve the same love, care, and opportunities as any other child.
The term “born one” is specific to Ghanaian culture and may not have the same connotations or usage in other cultural contexts.
