The 18-man Ghana premier league clubs have nominated Mr. John Ansah, who is a current management member of Cape Coast Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs, as a member of the newly formed 5 –member autonomous Ghana premier league committee.
Mr Ansah as called by most football enthusiast has an empire of experience ranging from his playing days in the industrial league with others like Joe Addo , Joseph Mensah and Nobby Abbey to mention a few . He started the compilation of his footling knowledge from 1978 as a player and climbed up to ZABI FC as a team manager during ZABI’s first division days now called premier.
He was part of the declaration of ‘Professionalism in Ghana football’ at Winneba. Again, he represented the second division clubs in the Greater Accra region under the chairmanship of Dr Quansah and worked behind the scenes in qualifying Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs’ to the Ghana premier league in the last three decades.
Mr John Ansah, who was once nominated by the late Mawusi Dakey to contest for the then GFA vice presidency, will work in the 5-member autonomous committee which would be chaired by the President of the National House of Chiefs, Togbe Afede XIV.
Other members include; Delali Senaye of Inter Allies with the GFA appointing vice president Mark Addo and executive council member Randy Abbey to represent the association on the five-member committee aimed at outlining policies for the formation of an autonomous Ghana Premier League according to reports.
