Afia Schwarzenegger, a controversial Ghanaian media personality and comedian, has stated that any radio station interested in hiring her as a presenter should not give less than 600,000 Ghana cedis.
This disclosure was revealed by the OAP (on-air personality) , who is now on vacation in Europe, during an interview with blogger Zion Felix on YouTube.
“Without bragging I will not do radio below 600,000 Ghana cedis that’s 6 billion old cedis,” Afia Schwarzenegger disclosed.
According to the former Kasapa Fm host, she earned this sum as her two-year wage while working for the Accra-based radio station.

“For two years. I will not take less than that. I took that amount like 5 years ago,”
She also stated that if she secures another radio deal, she will want a larger salary due to her unparalleled status as the queen of mid-morning radio in Ghana, knocking out competitors like as Doreen Andoh, Delay, Ohemaa Woyeje, Kofi Kum Bilson, and others.
“If I have to do radio now, I will not take poaching less than 1 billion. I am the queen of mid-morning in Ghana. I proved it without any reasonable at Kasapa. I could be playing the show and leave it to go to town to watch people who are tuned in and listening to us. I am not bragging, my manager is Ben Duker, try it,”
Despite her absence from the airways for several years, the mother of three appears to be a hotcake, as she said that the owners of Accra Fm were hot on her tail to sign her but had declined.
“The day Tracy Boakye had her traditional wedding, Alhaji Saani sent me 5,000 cedis just to buy petrol and come and meet but I didn’t even go,” she bragged.
