The musician Patapaa claims the 2,800-capacity venue is not even large enough in response to those who made fun of him after he wrote on X that he was the next Ghanaian to fill the Indigo at The O2, London.
The One Corner hitmaker claimed that Medikal could accomplish far more than Ghanaians had ever seen following his sold-out performance at the same location two weeks prior.
In a recent interview with Graphic Showbiz, Patapaa, real name Justice Amoa said with a feisty demeanor, “Surely, my team and I will make it happen.” At The O2, we’ll fill the Indigo. My followers have long awaited that day throughout Europe, particularly in the UK.
“I believe this is the right time and right opportunity to fill the Indigo at The O2 but I’m really scared about an overflow due to the venue’s capacity but it’s all good.”

“There have been several contacts from promoters to help make this happen after my post on X but I’m only interested in Ghanaian promoters because I want it done our way,” he confidently added.
While he was at it, Patapaa, who gained notoriety in 2017 after releasing his debut album One Corner, vented his resentment at others, particularly his detractors who believed he lacked skill and that his rise to stardom was the result of pure luck.
Patapaa called individuals who believed he was untalented and unfit for the music industry foolish people who are unable to recognize the treasure that is Patapaa.
He said that he has consistently been the target of jokes and that he plans to educate the “ignorant folks” in order to reverse the unfavorable labeling that has been hurting his career.
