Well-known Kumawood actor Salinko has revealed that, as he does not now have the resources to conduct a DNA test, he has assumed paternity over a child he knows is not his.
In a recent interview with Okukuseku, which was picked up by Adomonline, the comedic actor disclosed that he got into this predicament because his ex-girlfriend lied to him about who was the father of the child and accepted full responsibility for it.
He said that after their first pregnancy ended in miscarriage, he was first thrilled to hear they were expecting a child.

But as it turned out, his girlfriend was actually dating two guys when, just four months after she gave birth, he received a troubling phone while working in Accra about a man storming his house and accused him of kidnapping his woman and child.
The comedic actor claimed that while he was back in Accra taking care of business, he gave his lover the order to leave his home. He was shocked to learn that the accuser was a fellow Kumawood actor.
He was upset by this development and asked his ex-girlfriend to explain herself. She admitted to double dating in front of her family.
“After I sent her packing, she brought in her father to apologise on her behalf. I told them I am already attached to the child so I will continue taking care until he grows and I can afford a DNA. But deep down, we all know I am not the father,” he said.
