DJ Azonto, a musician and disc jockey from Ghana, says he will not play for Sarkodie at any of his upcoming gigs for anything less than a million dollars.
The remarks from DJ Azonto come after he stated he was paid $80,000 to play at the upcoming 02 Arena event in the UK by Medikal.
The “Fa No Fom” hitmaker believes that he is a major Ghanaian music singer with a unique brand who ought to be compensated more.
“When you book me for a show, I will deliver value for the money spent. That is why I will not charge less than a million to perform for Sarkodie at any of his shows.

“I considered Medikal’s $80,000 offer because I consider him a brother after working as his DJ for many years, and he has been good to me. He has already booked an expensive hotel for me and my squad, and we plan to rock the 02 Arena in a few weeks,” he claimed.
DJ Azonto continued by stating that his distinct stage presence and numerous hit songs made him one of the few Ghanaian musicians capable of igniting a concert trend.
DJ Azonto has graced several important music venues; his vivacious performance at the Ghana Music Awards UK event last year stands out among his performances.
