Ghanaian hiplife legend, Reggie Rockstone has cleared the air about the misconception that he brought Jamaican Dancehall legend, Beenieman to Ghana in 2005.
Stonebwoy in a recent interview, he mentioned that he brought Beenieman to Ghana and that became a spice of the generation on all social media platforms.
Addressing the issue, in a social media post, Hiplife Grandpapa, Reggie Rockstone mentioned that he never brought Jamaican dancehall sensation, Beenieman for their collaboration with Nigerian Afrobeat maestro, 2 Face Idibia.

Stonebwoy as part of promoting his new album, “Up and Running” which features Jamaican Dancehall Queen, Stonebwoy in an interview on 3 Music Live, mentioned that as part of his contribution to the music scene, he brought, Beenieman, Morgan Heritage, among a litany of artistes including Spice to Ghana.
Reacting to these claims on social media yesterday, Hiplife grandpapa slammed some section of Ghanaians and other bloggers who wanted to use him as a conduit to disgrace Stonebwoy.
“I see a lot of vloggers and bloggers hitting my dm, first of all, your level of pettiness never ceases to amaze me, Ghana. There are so many things we can talk about and build on, instead, everyone is hitting me up about my brother Stonebwoy and what he has said about Beenieman” he explained.

Reggie however, laid the facts bare, stating emphatically that he never brought Beenieman to Ghana in 2005 where they featured on a collaboration between himself and Nigerian Afrobeat legend, 2 Face Idibia.
“Let me set the records straight, I never brought Beenieman to Ghana. I me that man in Ghana. Correct, I never brought brother Beenieman to Ghana. I met him over here, Blessing great collaboration, 2Face Nija, Reggie Rockstone Ghana brother Beenie. Legendary collaboration, dancehall, Afrobeat and hiplife”.
He also explained that people misconstrued what Stonebwoy said and that he never mentioned he was the first man to bring Beenieman to Ghana.
“If you listen to the brother, he said he brought Beenieman to Ghana but he didn’t say he was the first person to bring Beenieman to Ghana”.
