Nigerian music sensation Tekno has responded to swirling rumors alleging that he pocketed over N1 billion in royalties from Kizz Daniel for their hit collaboration “Buga.”
Dismissing the claims as false, Tekno took to X to vent his frustration, vehemently cursing out whoever fabricated the interview that indicated that he had received the amount from Kizz Daniel.
The track “Buga,” released on May 3, 2022, swiftly soared to become Nigeria’s chart-topper and even claimed the title of the most Shazamed song globally upon its debut.
The report also claimed that Kizz Daniel sends him 50% of every revenue he generates from the song.
