Contrary to popular belief, Black Sherif, a rising Kumerican rapper, is as clean as a whistle. He does not use drugs or alcohol, and he does not smoke, according to him.
In a brief interview with Pulse, Black Sherif revealed details about his personal life to the audience. He explained why, despite his celebrity status, he chose to remain single. Black Sherif stated that his decision was deliberate in order to avoid unwanted pressure from relationships.
“Charley life hard, but you know say life for Accra be harder. So if I go take girl wey me I dey street. I no get nothing. If I go take girl then they come dey bill-bill me or something, I go stress more. So rydee I for just focus and talk to girls. I no dey date them.”
Black Sherif also described how his first girlfriend died while they were still in high school. He claimed that a strange illness had ravaged their school. Unfortunately, she died as a result of the attack on her body.
The rapper’s no-alcohol-smoking policy was another shocking revelation. Despite the fact that drinking alcohol and smoking cigarettes are legal in Ghana, Black Sherif prefers to abstain.
“I don’t do drugs and I don’t do alcohol. That craft is just for the clout, you feel me. To complement the song, the attitude and everything. Ibe craft,” he concluded.
