Ghana Premier League champions, Accra Hearts Hearts of Oak have been thrashed by 6-2 on aggregate by Wydad AC to eliminate them from the ongoing CAF Champions League competition.
The Phobians in the first leg beat the Moroccan giants by 1-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium after displaying a very fascinating performance against the North African side.
Hearts travelled to Morocco for the second leg with the hope of qualifying into the group stage of the competition but it all ended in a disgraceful manner as the rainbow boys’ effort could not match the outstanding performance of the North Africans and for that matter, suffered an embarrassing 6-1 defeat at the Stade Mohammed V stadium at Casablanca, Morrocco.

Simon Msuba got the first goal for WAC in the 5th minutes, Aymane El Hassouni 7th minutes, Achraf Dari also got the 3rd from a set-piece for WAC and Yahaya Jabrane scored a penalty to make it 4-0 for Wydad in the first half.
After 2 minutes in the second half, Ayoub El Amloud made it 5 and Simon Msuba scored his second goal in the game and 6th for WAC.
After 84 minutes, Patrick Razak got a consolation goal for Accra Hearts of Oak and ended the game 6-1 after 90 minutes.
Hearts of Oak are out of the 2021/2022 CAF Champions League and are going to prepare for qualification into the CAF Confederation Cup.
