In contrast to the reports regarding Moesha’s’missing’ status, actor Van Vicker was able to talk with her. Despite the fact that he is still unsure about the situation, he was relieved that they could speak about it.
Sources claimed that Moesha had gone ‘missing’ after a video of her attempting suicide and then confessing and preaching outside an unfinished building went viral. After unsuccessful attempts to contact her, the majority of her coworkers came out to raise the alarm.
Fortunately, Van Vicker has been able to communicate with her. The actor posted a photo of the two on his own Instagram page. The caption says, “I wanted to be sure you are well. So I called you @moeshaboduong. Glad we could talk. I have seen and heard the stories, I am not too clear on the matters arising but be strong and look out for your happiness.”
Yesterday, on July 15, 2021, the church in question released a statement indicating that Moesha was no longer under their care. They suspected her family of being the new chaperons. According to the statement, “after talks with her and with her family’s permission, we moved her to a secure and quiet place away from distractions on Tuesday 13th July, in order to accelerate her rehabilitation process, with all associated expenses being paid by the church.
“During the evening of Wednesday 14 July, her family members made a decision to take her back home, and she is currently in their care. We were in the middle of our weekday service when we were called and informed of this development, and we respect their decision.”
