Founding member of the David Dauglas Leadership Forum, David Douglas Tengey has called on Ghanaian youths to take charge of their lives, be entrepreneurial minded and avoid looking up to the government for jobs.
According to him, the government alone cannot provide jobs for everyone as such the youth can take advantage of various opportunities available to make their lives better to the benefit of the society and the country as a whole.
“What we realize upon research is that a lot of the youth clearly do not identify their purpose because identifying your purpose is when you discover yourself and when you discover yourself, you will know what to do.”
In this regard, Mr. Tengey urged Ghanaian youths to identify their purpose in life and work towards achieving them.
“Let us help our country to grow.” He emphasized.
The David Douglas Leadership Forum is an organisation geared towards partnership and leadership strategies that will advance the realization of the potentials of the youth and help direct them for the attainment of personal, family, and community, national and global goals.
