Pokua Poku-Mouhtiseb, the esteemed fashion designer and creative director of Poqua Poqu, has departed from this life.
It is said that problems during her labor caused her death on Wednesday, February 14 at the Lister Hospital.
When several of Pokua’s friends, including Afia Akoto of the New Patriotic Party, posted tributes in her honor on social media on Thursday morning, the word of her passing began to circulate.
Her husband, Mr. Mouhtiseb, and their three children survive her.

Pokua attended Martyrs of Uganda R/C JHS for her elementary education before continuing on to Achimota School for her secondary schooling.
She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Hull in England and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Ghana.
