Maxwell Woledzi, a Ghanaian youth international, celebrated Fredrikstad FK’s league victory over the weekend as they won the Norwegian First Division.
After securing promotion to the first level three games prior to the final, Fredrikstad emerged victorious in the league title match with one game remaining.
After leaving Vitoria Sporting Club in Portugal, Woledzi signed a three-year contract with the club in the summer.

After joining the team in the middle of the season, Woledzi played in 15 league games for the team, winning all but two of them.
The first division center defense averaged 5.52 interceptions per game across his 15 outings, helping to contribute to four clean sheets.
The club, which has now won two titles in the previous three years, will now hope to compete in the Eliteserien the following season.
