Black Stars has been in Doha where they have pitched camp to prepare for the upcoming continental showpiece.
Today at the Education City Sports Stadium, Coach Milovan Rajevac had the chance to assess the strength of his squad when Ghana faced off with African champions Algeria.

In a game that could possibly be the only friendly the Black Stars play before the start of the AFCON, it was a poor showing from the Ghana players with all two goalkeepers that featured, Abdul Manaf Nurudeen and Lawrence Ati-Zigi failing to impress.
An own goal from defender Jonathan Mensah plus goals from Adam Ounas and Islam Slimani in the end powered Algeria to cruise to a deserved 3-0 win after 90 minutes.
The Black Stars have just a few days to put things in order before travelling to Cameroon on Friday, January 7, 2022, to gear up for the official start of the AFCON on Sunday, January 9, 2022.
