The Black Stars of Ghana have retained their position in the latest FIFA Coca-Cola rankings.
The four-time African champions hold steady at 64th globally and 12th on the continent for the month of July.
Ghana had climbed in the rankings after defeating Mali and the Central African Republic in June’s World Cup qualifiers, but their position remained unchanged in the weeks following.

In July, the Black Stars were inactive, unlike European and South American countries participating in the European Championship and Copa America.
Argentina remains at the top of the global rankings following their Copa America victory, while Spain has moved to third place after their success at the Euros.
In Africa, Morocco, Senegal, Egypt, Cote d’Ivoire, and Nigeria occupy the top five spots.
Ghana is set to return to action in September for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. The Black Stars will face Angola in Kumasi and then travel to Niger for their second match in Group F.
The former African champions are aiming to secure a spot in the Africa Cup of Nations, which will be hosted in Morocco next year.
