In an interview with DJ Slim on Daybreak Hitz, Ghanaian musician Article Wan revealed that Ghana is sitting on him, saying, “I have something here but I cannot put it out myself alone.
I need everybody’s support, some heads have ignored me and it’s not good, but I’m hitting on them.” Article Wan also noted that he is frustrated with the music industry, citing a lack of support, sabotage, and the existence of gatekeepers who manipulate the system.
Article Wan also remarked about the prevalence of gatekeepers in the industry, who he says can damage an artiste’s career.
“I won’t believe that there is a conscious agenda to sabotage me, but from what I’m seeing, it’s scary,” he remarked.
The musician also talked about how, in spite of his skill and diligence, he personally faced obstacles in the industry.
“People have their own favorites, let’s face it. You may be their second choice when they are doing something if you are not on team A, but you will never be their first choice,” he continued.

Despite the difficulties he has had, Article Wan has conveyed his appreciation for the popularity of his music and the support of his fans.
“I give thanks to God in heaven for assisting me in my production. In Ghana, you only have to listen to one hit song before it passes. However, he added, “These hits are coming from me and are even making waves in Russia. I featured some hot songs after that, including Patapaa and Joey B.”
Article Wan maintains his optimism and gratitude for his music’s success in spite of the difficulties.
