Captain of the Black Stars, Andre Ayew, who will miss the World Cup playoff between Ghana and Nigeria reportedly had his valuable watch stolen at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The Al Sadd forward visited his teammates in Kumasi to inspire them ahead of the game against the Super Eagles on Friday, but just as he was leaving he was mobbed by teeming fans at the stadium.
Unfortunately, while fans were cheering and chanting his name, a thief in the crowd found his way of removing the watch reportedly worth around 20,000 pounds.

According to reports, the 32-year-old has sent a plea for the watch to be returned and has a reward for anybody who finds his valuable.
Andre Ayew will miss the game this evening after picking a red card in Ghana’s final game against Comoros Island at the Africa Cup of Nations.
In his absence Arsenal star Thomas Partey will wear the armband as he hopes to lead the team to Qatar 2022.
The Black Stars will travel to Abuja in four days time for the second leg of the blockbuster encounter.
