The University of Cape Coast chapter of the Ghana Association of University Women has held a public sensitization programme on the need to adhere to health protocols outlined by the World Health Organisation and the Ghana Health Service to control spread of the coronavirus.

The exercise targeted residents of some surrounding communities of the university who also were recipients of about 1000 nose masks.

President of the association, Mrs Mildred Asmah who told ATL FM NEWS the exercise would be extended to other parts of the Cape Coast Metropolis said the gesture formed part of the association’s corporate social responsibilities.
