Dr. Ransford Abbey (12), Frederick Acheampong (11), Nana Sarfo Oduro (10), James Kwesi Appiah (10) and Kingsley Osei Bonsu have been elected as Premier League representatives on the Executive Council following an exhaustive process at the Elective Congress on Thursday.
Dr. Abbey, Frederick Acheampong, Nana Sarfo Oduro and James Kwesi Appiah came up tops in the first round but the fifth spot needed to go to the third round after Kingsley Osei Bonsu and Elleony Amande both polled 9 votes in the first round.

The two candidates were separated by 6 votes in the third round after Kingsley Osei Bonsu polled 12 votes – 6 more than Elleony Amande to win the contest.
The five persons will represent Premier League clubs on the Executive Council for the next four years.
